The Sydney office will serve as the headquarters for the region but the company said it would be hiring people on the ground immediately in Manila, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore to service current client accounts, with plans for expansion in the future.

The company, globally headquartered out of London, will be spearheaded in APAC from Sydney by managing director Katherine Robinson, former CMO of Roller Software. Laura Vozzo joins as the head of entertainment and culture from roles at MTV Networks Australia and NBC Universal London, to expand the current division across APAC. Jennifer Wilson, a director of The Project Factory, will continue as a consultant to Way To Blue APAC.

Adam Rubins, CEO of Way to Blue, said: “It’s a very exciting time for us at Way to Blue. We have been waiting for the right time to bring together a fully integrated team in Australia that can continue to grow our business throughout the APAC region. Our goal is to create the next version of communications globally. We genuinely feel we can bring something new to the table which will drive better efficiency, more integration, transparency, objectivity and ultimately more value.”
