The Drum launches the Digital Trading Awards in Asia Pacific

The Drum Digital Trading Awards APAC has launched, marking the first dedicated awards programme for the ad tech and digital media community in the region.

The Drum Digital Trading Awards APAC launch

The aim of the awards for 2017 is to encourage discussion around the themes of clarity and transparency, with the final awards night taking place in Singapore on 27 October 2017 benchmarking those leading the charge in the Asia Pacific industry.

It is the first awards programme for The Drum in Asia but follows on from four years in Europe and two in the US for the Digital Trading Awards.

The Drum Digital Trading Awards APAC is being launched in association with The Trade Desk, as well as partners Integral AdScience, Unruly and Bidswitch.

The Drum has also partnered with the IAB in Singapore, naming its CEO and ambassador to Southeast Asia Miranda Dimopoulos as a judge. She will be joined by Blis’ Regina Goh, ESPN’s Marc Mallett, Amnet Group’s Anna Chan and Wunderman’s Caspar Schlickum, who have also been confirmed as judges for the first year. More judges are to be announced in due time.
