Lycamobile, the world’s largest mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), has launched an extensive TV advertising drive in the UK.

The campaign, which is scheduled to air during May and June, consists of premium TV spots on a broad range of channels, including Channel 4, ITV Breakfast, ITV2, E4, Film4 and the Sky Sports network. The launch follows a run in Ireland, with media planning and buying managed by Guerillascope on both sides of the Irish Sea.

The focus of the campaign is the brand’s new UK Plan Ultra, which provides customers with 15GB of ultra-fast 4G data, as well as unlimited UK minutes and texts.

Lyca Group Chairman, Allirajah Subaskaran, said: “We are very excited to be launching our new TV advertising campaign, which we have implemented across the UK with Guerillascope. At Lycamobile, we are dedicated to growing our UK customer base and TV is an effective medium through which to reach our target audience. We are delighted to be working on this with the team at Guerillascope, who have the right skills and experience to ensure we get the results we need from the campaign.”

Guerillascope is based in London, working with clients including ProtectYourBubble.com and Nextbase.
