Welsh broadcaster S4C appoints S3 for media contract

S4C invited agencies to tender for the three-year-contract, and following a competitive pitch process, the contract was awarded to S3, with S4C crediting the “competitive pricing structure and exciting/innovative approach” of the proposal.

The news completes a string of new business wins for the fast-growing agency, which was last year named "Advertising Agency of the Year" by The Drum. Clients including MotoNovo Finance, Innovation Point, South Wales Fire and Rescue Service and Brace’s Bread have all been welcomed to the agency’s roster over the last six months.

Agency turnover has increased by 178% in the last financial year to £4.9m. As a result the city centre agency has added to its staff with six new specialists across design, social media, creative and digital since the New Year.

S3’s reputation for fierce relentlessness in its mission to disrupt audiences with the very latest developments in technology and new media opportunities is just one of the many reasons Gwyn Williams, S4C’s director of communications, selected S3 as the agency for the job.
