Aside from the ongoing brand safety crisis that's plaguing YouTube, the topics of diversity and talent were two of the most widely discussed at the 4A’s Transformation conference in Los Angeles earlier this week as the industry continues to grapple with how it approaches its workforce.

While the advertising industry has made strides in recent years when it comes to hiring more diverse talent, there’s still a long way to go, and many are beginning to wonder how much of the talk around it is simply lip service and who is really taking tangible steps to become more inclusive.

At the conference, The Drum spoke a number of industry heavyweights to get their thoughts on the matter.
