Tens has launched its latest campaign with an uplifting ad showcasing its new line of custom filter sunglasses.

Following the success of its Indiegogo campaign in 2014, the Scottish brand has marked the release of five new styles with multiple editions and exclusive pre-orders via Kickstarter.

Designed in Scotland, the frames are constructed with Mazzuchelli Italian acetate, Japanese wireframe and feature Tens signature lens tint.

Shot in Mexico, the video, titled 'Tens SS17: Daydreamers', was produced by Tens co-founders Marty Bell and Kris Reid and filmed by third co-founder, Tom Welsh.

The ads purpose is to encourage people to live positively in their everyday lives, which is a fundamental element of the Tens brand ethos.

’‘Daydreamers was shot part digital and part 16mm film - we wanted to capture the juxtaposition between a colder, muted world without Tens and the warm and granular effect of wearing them," said Tens director, Kris Reid.

"For the narration of the film we were looking to highlight the importance of relationships offline, experiencing certain things in life because you genuinely want to and not just because you want to be seen to be doing so online.

"The response to our new brand film has been fantastic; we’re really pleased that viewers have managed to relate to the message, leaving them with that fuzzy feeling of that summer is just around the corner.''

The campaign also includes a look book which captured the surroundings of Tulum; shot by Mexico City based photographer, Omar Coria.
