Caliber Interactive has named former Grayling chief operating officer Rav Singh its new global chief executive officer.

Singh, who took up the position on 6 March, has been appointed to drive forward the strategic growth of the business which operates out of offices in London, Dubai and Edinburgh.

He joins the team having previously held senior posts at MMD Corporate & Public Affairs, Grayling and Huntsworth, MHP Communications and most recently as chief operating officer at The Moment Content Company, a spin-out of TV production firm Twofour Group.

With a long history of operational and financial positions under his belt, Singh’s appointment marks a new era of growth for Caliber, which delivers digital marketing services including SEO, content marketing and digital PR to blue chip clients across the UK, Middle East and US.

Rav Singh said: “Caliber is a fantastically innovative consultancy with an enviable reputation in the digital marketing space. Joining the team to shape and drive forward the strategic direction of the business is an exciting opportunity.

"We have a strong basis within the existing marketplace where we already work with a collection of leading brands across the UK, Middle East and US. I’m looking forward to building on these relationships to further strengthen our commercial position and give our existing and new clients the best integrated service offering on the market.”

The appointment follows a wave of fresh talent bolstering the agency’s senior team in recent months, including Patrick O’Neil joining as client services director from Passion Digital and Chris McGhee, formerly of Beattie Group, joining as head of communications.

Jonny Scott, executive chairman at Caliber, said: “Rav is the latest exciting addition to the Caliber team. His solid financial and operational background and expert insight into the wider marketing industry will be invaluable. The agency continues to go from strength-to-strength and with Rav heading up our leadership team, we look forward to rolling out our ambitious development plans.”

In 2016 Singh enrolled in the Board Directors’ Programme at Henley Business School and joined fellow communications leaders as an ambassador for Taylor Bennett Foundation, an award-winning training and mentoring programme encouraging black, Asian and ethnic minority graduates to pursue a career in communications.

Caliber is a digital agency which works with clients such as Tesco, Thomson and Ticketmaster.
