Alphabet CEO Eric Schmidt, Paypal chief executive Dan Schulman and more announced as speakers for Publicis Groupe's Viva Technology

The event, created to bring innovaters, tech-lovers and pioneers of the future together, holds a number of talks across six different stages as well as roundtables and workshops to focus on particular topics each from industry experts.

Joining Zhang and Schmidt is Tony Hsieh, who has held the position of chief executive of online shoe and clothing shop Zappos for almost two decades.

Also attending the three day event is Ambarish Mitra, co-founder and chief executive of Blippar, Shelley Zalis, chief executive at Girl's Lounge, Dan Schulman the chief executive at Paypal and many more.

Last year the event drew in over 45,000 attendees from around the world with over 600 speakers attending in total including return speaker Eric Schmidt, the chief exectuive at Alphabet Inc.

Last year Schmidt talked about the advancement of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Discussing the advancement of traditional technology, he gave an insight as to how Google has continued to grow it's use of AI giving the example of its voice recognition saying that between20% and 30% of Google searches are done through voice with an improvement growth of 20% year on year.

During the event last year, Publicis Groupe invested €10m into 90 startups with Maurice Levy calling for EU reform weeks before distancing himself from the company.
