Domino’s invites couples to #ValenDineIn as it prepares for what could be biggest day for pizza deliveries

Domino's invites pizza lovers to #ValenDineIn this Valentine's Day

Domino’s is rebranding the couple’s holiday to #ValenDineIn day to reward those who dine in with free pizza for two as its research suggests that the majority of couples are planning to stay in this Valentine’s Day.

The pizza maker is inviting the public to join its ValenDine-in Day Facebook event, where it will reward one lucky couple with a ‘Box of Love’; a pizza goody-box for two.

As part of its social media drive the brand has created a Snap Code that takes Snapchatters to an exclusive filter in which fans can invite friends to be #ValenDineIn.

It has also created a Spotify playlist, ‘Valendine-in with Domino’s!’, collecting the cheesiest love songs including 'You’re Beautiful' by James Blunt and Robbie Williams’ 'She’s the One' for pizza diners to enjoy.

The pizza maker says Valentine’s Day could be its biggest day of 2017 with 475,000 pizzas expected to be ordered throughout the day. In total, it predicts over 4.2 million slices of pizza will be eaten throughout the day.

According to research conducted by Fly Research, out of 1000 adults, three-quarters (72 per cent) of respondents said they planned to dine in this Valentine's Day.
