Ad of the Day: Galaxy

Ahead of Valentine’s Day Galaxy has unveiled a modern take on classic love stories reminding us to rush less and make time for pleasure.

Teaming up with AMV BBDO and director Juan Cabral, the seasonal film follows Cupid in pursuit of a young woman rushing through life. Chasing her through the busy streets of central London, Cupid’s arrow keeps missing her as she continues to move too fast, instead striking others in her path.

Running across social channels from today (Tuesday 7 February) until Valentine’s Day, Galaxy marketing director, Olivia Cheng commented: “With chocolate being the second most popular gift to give on Valentine’s Day, it’s the perfect time of year for Galaxy.”

The film concludes when she finally takes a breath, allowing love to strike.

“It’s a modern fable. In our increasingly busy, do it all and have it all lives, it’s a reminder that sometimes we need to take a moment for pleasure,” added AMV BBDO creative directors, Nadja Lossgott and Nicholas Hulley.
