Spiller steps into the new role after departing DDB Melbourne last year after five years with the agency.

Prior to this, he was CCO at Fallon USA and regional creative director of Publicis Mojo Australia and New Zealand, where he also worked as ECD.

Spiller has worked on a number of iconic Australian campaigns including Tourism Victoria’s award-winning Run Rabbit Run and Labyrinth campaigns, as well as Nike’s Stuff History.

The appointment follows the departure of Host’s executive creative director Bob Mackintosh, who left the agency at the end of last year after a decade in the Sydney office.

Host clients include Air New Zealand, XXXX Gold, James Boag, Tooheys Extra Dry, James Squire, Red Rooster, Oporto, Star Entertainment Group, Subaru and Visit California.
