Liverpool’s Creative Kitchen announces 2017 events line-up

The Creative Kitchen team will continue with its support of independent venues with their ever-popular Made Here event at Scandinavian-inspired gathering space Hus on Wednesday 8th February. The event will include speakers from digital agencies Angel Solutions, Cleversteam and freelance collective Nine Dots Creative.

Creative Kitchen will also be involved with the highly-anticipated Prolific North Live, which takes place in Manchester over 15-16 February. The Creative Kitchen team will host a stage at the expo, teaming up with Freelance Friday to host Freelance Hour, a session packed with useful advice and inspiration around life as a freelancer. The session will feature presentations from Michael Henderson of creative and digital insurance specialists Riskbox UK and Robyn Dooley of Liverpool-based skills gap startup Innovators Hub. Curator of Creative Kitchen Gavin Sherratt will also be speaking at the expo, offering an insight into collaboration and developing a peer group community.

Sherratt, also managing director of development agency and digital consultancy Mashbo, said: “We had a great 2016 at Creative Kitchen and we can’t wait to add to that success with some amazing events that we have planned for this year. We’re passionate about growing the already incredible digital and creative sector that exists in the region, and getting started on our 2017 events programme – which includes our involvement in Prolific North Live.
