Long has nearly two decades of agency experience and at Goodby Silverstein & Partners he led the Comcast/XFINITY account as creative director. Prior to his role at Goodby, Long developed and directed award-winning digital content for Airwick, Motorola, Quilted Northern, Diet Coke, Johnsonville and JC Penney’s.

“Mike is an incredibly exciting talent who has done work I’ve admired in the industry. We’re thrilled to have him join our team and help us to continue to the raise the bar for our clients’ business” said Karin Onsager-Birch, chief creative officer of FCB West.

Commenting on his new position, Long said, “I’m very excited to be joining FCB West right now. Between the array of solid, innovative companies and teams of vibrant, eager creatives, there’s enormous potential to create some great work.”

Arlene Bae is also joining FCB West as SVP, group management director, and will be the lead across the Levi’s and Ghirardelli accounts, while supporting the agency’s new business efforts.

Rounding out the trio of new hires is Sara Wallace, who is joining as VP, account director, from Leo Burnett in London. Wallace’s focus will be to lead FCB West’s roster of Clorox brands.

Bae has over 20 years of agency experience leading client management for global brands including The North Face, Microsoft, Adidas, Google, Netflix, Banana Republic, GM and Unilever. Prior to joining FCB, Arlene spent her account management years at agencies such as R/GA, Blast Radius, Carat, Euro RSCG and Leo Burnett.

Wallace joins FCB from Leo Burnett, where she spent the past seven years working on some of the world’s most well-known brands across P&G and Kellogg’s. Most recently, she led the Leo Burnett team in London in her role as global brand account director, working closely with both the key global markets and P&G teams around the world to develop a global creative and communications strategy.

“We are building something special here at FCB West,” said Joe Oh, CEO of FCB West. “Agencies are defined by the talent we have, the work we create and the clients we draw. With the hire of Arlene, Sara and Mike we are adding even more world-class talent to this amazing culture.”
