The team, which joins from 180 Amsterdam, will be based out of the shop's headquarters in New York City and will report to co-founder and chief creative officer Jaime Robinson.

In their roles as co-ECDs, Treichel and Canning will support Robinson in leading the creative department and will be involved in current partnerships and new business initiatives.

“We’re over the moon that Dave and Dan have joined us,” said Robinson. “Their ability to push boundaries combined with a true sense of empathy is the exact brand of creativity we need as our creative department and agency continues to grow and flourish. Dave and Dan have been behind some of our favorite campaigns both in the US and Europe.”

At 180 Amsterdam, the duo worked with clients such as Asics, DHL, PlayStation, Replay Jeans and United Colors of Benetton. Prior to that, they worked together at Barton F. Graf 9000, where they created the Climate Name Change campaign for 350 Action. In their earlier career days, Canning worked at Wieden + Kennedy and Young & Rubicam, and Treichel at Crispin Porter + Bogusky and Droga5. The team has collectively won over 50 Cannes Lions.

“We couldn’t be happier to be joining Joan. Jaime and Lisa are two of the smartest and most talented people in this business and we can’t wait to ride their long, illustrious coattails to many successes,” said Canning.

“It's absolutely refreshing to work for a female owned and founded agency,” continued Treichel.” “It's rare to see this much ambition, enthusiasm and creativity in one place. After one Skype with Jaime and Lisa, we looked at each other and said, ‘We really, really hope we get this job.'”
