As part of the changes, Dentsu Aegis Network has appointed two leading figures in the region to oversee both Carat and iProspect in Edinburgh.

The position of managing director of Carat Edinburgh will be taken up by Chris Marsh, who joins from Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) where he held the role of head of sponsorship.

Sue Holloway, who has led Carat in the region since 2013, takes up the role of chairman of Carat Edinburgh.

In addition, Anneli Ritari-Stewart has joined the agency as managing director of iProspect Edinburgh, having played a critical role in growing the team at former agency DigitasLBi.

Ritari-Stewart’s appointment follows Richard Gill’s promotion to co-managing partner of Dentsu Aegis Network Edinburgh alongside David Crawley. Charlotte Bell, strategy director, completes the line-up of the new leadership team.

“This investment in Edinburgh’s leadership will position us to drive continued growth through our people, products and services in 2017 and beyond,” said David Crawley, managing partner of Dentsu Aegis Network Edinburgh.

He added: “As the industry continues to develop at pace, we will ensure that the agency remains a leader in marketing communications through delivering real differentiation within the Scottish market and is best placed to help our clients win in the digital economy.”

The appointments mark an investment in Dentsu Aegis Network’s Scottish operations and the company says it plans to introduce further capabilities across the region.

Dentsu Aegis Network has operated in Scotland since 2013, with regional clients including The Scottish Government, The Great Run Company and DeAgostini.
