NYC’s flagship Bloomingdale’s woos shoppers with its chandelier-themed holiday window display

Every holiday season, New York City’s biggest retailers deck out their windows with elaborate festive displays to attract the attention of the many people who’ve come to Manhattan to do their holiday shopping.

The displays have become somewhat of a New York City staple over time, so much so that they’ve become a tourist attraction in their own right. This year, Google even partnered with retailers like Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, Tiffany & Co. and more to create a virtual reality experience that lets people virtually check out the iconic window displays.

Since both tourists and locals look forward to seeing the windows each year, The Drum recently visited Bloomingdale’s flagship store on Lexington Avenue to take a look at its chandelier-themed window displays and find out what passersby thought of the retailer’s effort this year.
