A new mobile ad agency, MediaPlier, has just opened, with offices in Los Angeles and Hamburg and a team in Berlin. The agency was founded by ex-InnoGames chief marketing officer Volker Dressel and Adobe Sales Director Josh Rinsky and focus on creating advertising campaigns for mobile apps, games and other digital brands, according to a story on Pocket Gamer.

MediaPlier works with mobile app and game developers, digital-first brands and other companies seeking to build a customer base beyond standard user acquisition tactics, according to its website. The company uses TV and video to drive brand performance across multiple channels. MediaPlier will offer creative services, media planning and buying, mobile media and video, influencer marketing, sponsorship and custom integrations. Clients currently include Gamesys, Oasis Games, Seriously and Xyrality.

“Over the past two years we’ve seen a steady maturation of mobile app marketing with brands promoting their products through an ever-widening range of channels including TV, video, sponsorship, influencer marketing and product integrations,” said Rinsky in the Pocket Gamer story.

“Our experience means that we are ideally suited to identify, plan and deliver on these creative opportunities for our clients. With a presence on two continents, MediaPlier can deliver multi-country campaigns for digital brands, mobile apps and games.”

Dressel, before InnoGames, was chief marketing officer at Xyrality, GM of Quad Media and Director of Marketing and Communications at Gamigo. Rinsky was previously at Monster, Warner Bros., Adobe and Quaid Media.
