If you love the smell of fried chicken wafting through your house, but you don’t want the hassle of frying your own, or even getting takeout, KFC may have the solution to your very, very strange problem.

The KFC candle is now available, so you can get that scent of the Colonel even without the red and white boxes of greasy goodness. Sadly, unless you’re a kiwi, finding one of these coveted candles may be out of reach. The KFC candle is only available in New Zealand, according to a story on Eater.

The candle is only available if followers of KFC New Zealand participate in a social media contest. The fast food chain asked followers on social media to suggest ideas for KFC merchandise that goes beyond the usual but fits within the brand’s aesthetic. Some ideas from fans included fried chicken lip balm (lip smackin’ good?), deodorant, cologne, felt markers and bath bombs.

This isn’t the first time that KFC has branched out from chicken and mashed potatoes. The company pushed chicken-scented sunscreen with one of its many actors playing the Colonel, George Hamilton, known for his sun-soaked hues. KFC Hong Kong nailed it with KFC “Finger Lickin’ Good Edible Nail Polish,” so fans could have the taste of KFC at their fingertips at all times – available in Original Recipe and Hot & Spicy.

Whether or not KFC is actually looking to expand its merch offerings and get into home goods and beauty products, or if they just want some unique brand attention, they’re certainly going way beyond what Colonel Sanders thought when he first pushed his fried chicken to the masses.
