This week has seen another wave of appointments and departures at brands, media owners and agencies. The Drum has rounded up the key moves from the EMEA, APAC and North America regions below.

EMEA people are on the move

Chi & Partners

Sarah Golding has been appointed by Chi & Partners as chief executive officer, while Nick Howarth is moving into a management role with parent company The & Partnership.

Golding has been instrumental in a series of changed within the company in the last year, including a new diversity-focused recruitment scheme, Spark.

The Guardian

Guardian News & Media has appointed Natasha Murray its first director of client partnerships as part of a restructure of the publisher’s commercial arm that will see its sales force reordered into agency-facing teams.

Natasha Murray, director of client partnerships, The Guardian, formerly managing director at Havas Media, will lead the newly formed client partnerships team.

Xaxis

Xaxis has confirmed that former European chief executive (CEO) Nicolas Bidon has been appointed as president of the GroupM adtech unit succeeding Brian Gleason.

Bidon will be responsible for guiding Xaxis’ overall company strategy, with the promotion marking his second such move within the GroupM outfit in 2016.

News UK

News UK’s commercial arm The Bridge, formed in April of this year, has appointed its first head of programmatic, Ian Hocking, as it looks to unlock the value of its rich data set for advertisers and make programmatic a key pillar of its offering.

As former head of agency and programmatic sales for eBay at Ad2One, Hocking will take up the role, working with News UK’s advertising partners to implement programmatic campaigns across its digital properties across The Sun, The Times and The Sunday Times.

BBC Scotland

Donalda MacKinnon has been appointed as the director of BBC Scotland, responsible for content across radio, television and online.

MacKinnon was previously head of programmes and services for BBC Scotland. She will take up her new position immediately and will be based at Pacific Quay in Glasgow.

Exterion Media

Exterion Media has appointed Gillian Godsell as country director for Scotland.

In her new role, Godsell will be responsible for Scottish sales and it's marketing strategy while also acting as an ambassador for the agency in Scotland.

Initials

Initials has appointed Paul Gygi as creative directorto work alongside executive creative director Nick Presley.

With over a decade of experience, Gygi will focus on promotional live engagement while contributing to the agencies plans to partner with local creative schools.

Kiss

Kate Matthews has been appointed by Kiss as head of PR.

Matthews has been appointed just as Justine Smith, managing director of PR, has announced she shall be stepping down at the end of the year following a seven year stint with the agency.

CP+B London

CP+B London has appointed Nicole Frost as head of UK planning.

Previously Frost has worked as a strategy consultant for Argos, Asda and Wilco while also founding Half Pint Chic.

Stack

Stack has appointed Caroline Deput as planning director.

Deput will take up the new role immediately and will work across a number of the agency's accounts including Peugeot, Citroen and DS automobiles.

Delete

Delete has bolstered it's roster with the hire of Philippe Feraille as client services director.

In his new role, Feraille will work to develop the agencies client base while also building and driving new relationships.

Total Media

Total Media has announced the appointment of Graham Martin as head of publishing to help accelerate the agencies development.

With over 12 years experience, Martin will run publisher relationships wile hopefully delivering commercial partnerships.

APAC people on the move

McCann Health Singapore

McCann Health Singapore has announced the appointment of Alejandro Canciobello as creative director.

Canciobello previously worked for McCann Worldgroup in Peru before relocating to Singapore where he won the Gold Lion at Cannes this year for his Red Cross campagin 'Hashtags for Life'.

J Walter Thompson

J Walter Thompson has hired Justin Barnes as executive creative director.

Having previously worked with clients including Converse, Footlocker and Ladbrokes, Barnes will start in his new role in January.

Ogilvy PR

Ogilvy PR Australia has appointed Adam Vincenzini as managing director in Melbourne.

Joining in January, Vincenzini will be responsible for overseeing the agnecies client roster that includes Taget, NAB and UNIQLO.

North America people on the move

Buzzfeed

BuzzFeed has appointed Mondelez’ Laura Henderson as its new marketing head following the departure of Frank Cooper last week, signaling challenging times at the snack food giant’s own content division as the digital publisher bolsters up its video offering.

Laura Henderson, who was global head of content and media monetization at Mondelez, will join BuzzFeed in the newly created role of senior vice president of marketing, the Wall Street Journal reports.

She will report to BuzzFeed president Greg Coleman.

Infectious Media

Infectious Media has announced the appointement of Chris Allan as managing director for North America.

Based in Chicago, Allen will be responsible for driving business and continuing to build on the previous market.
