PHD launches in South Korea with HeeYoun Yang at the helm
Omnicom Media Group has announced that PHD is to open an office in South Korea as it continues to expand its APAC offering.

The new operation will be headed up by HeeYoun Yang, who has been appointed as managing director. With over 22 years of experience in strategic media planning and digital, she joins the network from Proximity Korea where she was the general manager.
This year, the PHD group was appointed to handle Volkswagen's US$3bn global media account, and also experienced significant wins across the region adding the likes of Carnival, Swisse and Allianz to its roster.
Commenting on the news, Susana Tsui, chief executive of PHD Asia Pacific said: "South Korea is one of the most economically progressive nations in the world. The opening, effective immediately, marks the 19th office in the APAC region for PHD, bringing the network total to 89 offices globally.
