"It's early, but Martha and Snoop deserve it," the show's creator SallyAnn Salsano told Business Insider on Monday. "The show is working. Why not get rocking?"

The second season will play on aspects of the show that the audience and its stars loved, tweaking it to be even more host-and-viewer friendly.

It will also allow Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart to expand on the wealth of recipes they have planned and add even more guest stars to the mix. The current season has featured a wide array of stars, including Ice Cube, Seth Rogen, Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, 50 Cent, Kathy Griffin and Robin Thicke.

“Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party” debut episode garnered three million viewers and won its time slot to become 2016's highest-rated new unscripted show on cable for 2016.

Catch the show Mondays at 10 p.m. on VH1.
