Business on the Move: Samsung, MTV, Bulldog Skincare

Samsung has appointed London-based agency Adam&Eve/DDB to its North America TV and home appliances business. The agency is thought to be setting up a New York office next year to service the account.

MTV has named Mediavest | Spark as its U.S. media agency of record, tasked with media buying and planning responsibilities for MTV and MTV2.

Bulldog Skincare has awarded The7stars its £2m media planning and buying account. The7stars will start work immediately with Bulldog Skincare, launching a TV, digital and out-of-home Christmas campaign set to run from Monday (21 November). Creative is handled by Adam&Eve DDB.

Sonovate, recruitment finance and back office provider, has appointed WPP’s global brand strategy and design agency, Brand Union, to build a fintech brand for the future. Sonovate is looking to drive further penetration in the market, bringing Brand Union on board as a strategic partner to build a future-proofed brand, helping it meet its significant growth targets.

Next15 has acquired HPI Research, the 50-strong integrated research agency. The move continues Next15’s drive to focus on its data and tech insight capabilities. HPI and Cardinal will become part of Next15’s newly formed data and insights group, sitting alongside existing brands Morar and Viga.

CarAdvice.com has appointed Else to develop and deliver a mobile-first website. The brief is to enhance the current experience for the brand’s active readership by creating more relevant and powerful links between content.

CSM, part of Chime communications, has acquired Curb Media to expand its experiential capabilities.

Start-up food company Coconut Chilli has awarded Rich Leigh & Company as its PR agency.
