Turner today announced that it has acquired BRaVe Ventures’ advisory business, and that BRaVe co-founders David Beck and Jesse Redniss would be joining the company in the newly created roles of Chief Strategy and Ventures Officer and Chief Innovation Officer, respectively. Beck and Redniss will spearhead a new Network Strategy and Innovation Team and will report to Kevin Reilly, president of TBS & TNT and chief creative officer for Turner Entertainment.

Prior to BRaVe, Beck served as SVP & Head of Social Media at Univision while Redniss held senior positions at USA Network and Spredfast.

The team will use its ‘future of TV’ expertise to determine innovative strategies and build new business for TBS and TNT. Both channels have been performing well of late with shows like Angie Tribeca, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, and Animal Kingdom.

"We have benefited from the expertise of David and Jesse in both business development and consumer experience over the past year," said Reilly. "With the guys now exclusively in our corner we can accelerate the evolution of TNT and TBS into dynamic omni-channel brands distinguished by top-notch content, as well as premium experiences and consumer connections."

Turner has been working with BRaVe over the last two years on initiatives ranging from the launch of Turner’s eSports league, ELEAGUE, to the company’s custom ad products.
