Jordan Brand launched a blog of its own Monday to serve as a content hub for the shoe line's fans to consume content all around Michael Jordan’s namesake.

Broken down into categories including culture, family, product, sport and shop, the blog breaks down the brand with pieces from influencers wearing Jordan’s to providing the consumer with a chance to buy their own pair.

One piece in the culture section called "Chicago. The Winning City" details the Pinnacle VI shoe through an interview with “Chicago’s shoe world”: Lavelle “VDot” Sykes, 44, owner and designer at Succezz and Over Time; Tyjuan “RegularOlTy” Mathis, 35, brand consultant; and Darius Ricks, a 27-year-old party organizer at All Summa.

It begins with:

“The first-time Michael Jordan pumped a triumphant fist in the air to celebrate an NBA championship, he was wearing the Air Jordan VI. Twenty-five years after his first trophy, the shoe has fittingly received the Pinnacle treatment. Released Oct. 22, the Pinnacle VI reflects Jordan’s career-shifting 1990-91 season.”

More than 30 years after Jordan signed with Nike, the blog works to encapsulate the brand and its history, including its iconic Jumpman logo. In one article, NBA player and Jordan athlete Jabari Parker, who plays with the Milwaukee Bucks, speaks to his youth playing basketball in Chicago.

The Jordan Brand has been working to expand into other sports other than basketball. In June, the brand joined football with Barcelona star Neymar Jr. who unveiled his new Jordans, making him the first footballer to wear the brand.

The Jordan brand had $2.8bn in revenue for fiscal 2016. As a whole, Nike has been one of the powerhouses in sports and has been working to assert its dominance across sports. Earlier this month, Cristiano Ronaldo renewed his partnership which includes multi-year agreement, reportedly worth around €24m ($27m) per year.
