Ibis Hotels and the Roundhouse have kicked off their collaboration to help up-and-coming artists showcase their work at the hotel chain's venues in major cities around the UK.

Ibis Hotels and Roundhouse's collaboration will see artists including Jay Johnston, Soma and Estee Blu perform

The campaign, which launched in London last week, was boosted with the help of social media influencers such as Jodie Porteous of Just Jodes, Sam Carr and Lucy Moon, all attending Ibis's Shoreditch-based hotel to listen to a variety of acts each funded and supported by the Roundhouse's charity.

The intimate gigs are the first in a series of exclusive events named Ibis Lates, which will be held across the country, as part of the pairing's recently anounced partnership. Performers scheduled to appear at the series of gigs include: Jay Johnston, a busker-turned-recording artist; Soma, a mix of musicians who met at the Roundhouse; Estee Blu a singer who mixes gospel, jazz and R&B, and DJ Nikita Chauhan.

Phil Eacott, Roundhouse corporate partnerships manager, said: “Our partnership with Ibis Hotels gives some our resident artists the opportunity to perform to audiences beyond the Roundhouse.”

This event comes following the Roundhouse Camden getting a new look to highlight the charity work it does.
