McDonald's is grabbing headlines with the roll out of an unconventional chocolate burger.

Showing the power of unexpected brand collaborations, the fast food giant has partnered with Ferrero to release a Nutella spread 'burger'.

The product, called the 'Sweety con Nutella has debuted in Italy.

The food fusion contains no meat with consumers offered a considerable dollop of the spread between two buns instead. It promises "a soft bread with a creamy, indulgent center!"

The launch was announced on Facebook, generating substantial buzz online.
