ITV has appointed Somethin' Else to produce social media content alongside ITV's in-house team for the channel's forthcoming series of I'm A Celebrity... and other future projects.

The appointment follows a competitive pitch involving three agencies, and will see the London-based content shop work with ITV’s in-house digital and social media production arms to initiate design and create assets across multiple platforms. Somethin’ Else will also work on the live show output, with a number of the agency's team joining ITV staff in Australia for I’m A Celebrity filming.

Toyota has appointed The&Partnership as its advertising agency for Europe, replacing Saatchi&Saatchi and Zenith. The creative shop was given the keys to the account without a pitch. Dedicated hubs will be set up for the car business, each designed to steer its creative along a more integrated way of planning campaigns.

Perfetti Van Melle UK has chosen Maxus as its lead media agency, following a competitive four-way pitch that included the incumbent agency, AMS Media Group. The account is worth £4 million in billings. The Maxus appointment covers the entire Perfetti Van Melle brand portfolio, including: Mentos, Mentos Gum, Chupa Chups, Fruittella and Smint. Maxus will oversee the delivery of fully integrated media campaigns, covering all areas of planning and activation.

Unicef UK has appointed Manifesto as its digital agency. The agency was previously engaged to create an audience and content strategy for Unicef UK, based on in-depth user research and market analysis. Following this successful initial project, Manifesto has now been appointed as the charity’s ongoing digital agency. The relationship has seen Manifesto completely redesign and rebuild the Unicef UK website and work on an innovative legacies campaign that delivers personalised video to users.

Digital agency Found has secured significant investment to fund an aggressive growth plan after securing client wins including London hotel chain glh Hotels, retail and leasing group Marshall Motors and personalised greetings cards supplier Funky Pigeon.

Premier Nutrition Corporation (PNC), maker of foods and beverages under Premier Protein and PowerBar brands and subsidiary of Post Holdings, Inc, has named Maxus as its media agency of record, replacing incumbent agency Mediavest/Spark. The GroupM agency will lead media planning, buying and analytics across all channels and emerging platforms for PNC’s portfolio of brands in the U.S.

The Wool Room appointed Strawman as their lead creative agency following a competitive pitch last month. The integrated campaign will begin in January 2017 and will include print, film, retail activation, social media and creative development of the website.
