Historic Royal Palaces, which looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, the Banqueting House, Kensington Palace, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle, has hired AKA as its media agency.

The appointment follows a competitive tender process which will see the agency handle the three-year contract, taking over from incumbent, M2M.
This will mean AKA will take over the strategic planning and buying across the Historic Royal Palaces portfolio.
Paul Smith, media director at AKA, described the account as “a great addition and complement to our current client roster and skill set. He added: “We’re looking forward to building a successful and collaborative partnership with the joint aim of encouraging as many visitors to these wonderful palaces.”
Other AKA clients include The National Theatre, The Royal Opera House, The Royal Shakespeare Company, The National Gallery, The Tate, Royal Academy of Arts, Natural History Museum, National Portrait Gallery and The Science Museum.
