Graham, an experienced agency leader that has held CEO and managing director roles at agencies including Weapon7 (BBDO) and Saint (Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R), has joined the group from growth consultancy Cact.us, where he was a managing consultant.

The Marketing Group is a new model for the advertising industry. It used an agglomeration model to help small agencies become publicly listed on Nasdaq First North Stockholm in June.

Graham will be responsible for increasing collaboration, partnership and synergies between the agencies and refining the client offering. His links to other high-growth agencies may also be utilised as the group looks to increase its members.

TMG said hiring Graham, particularly with his background as a growth consultant, was a key strategic move for the business as it expands its model globally.

Jeremy Harbour, executive chairman at The Marketing Group, said: “The board is pleased to welcome Adam Graham to The Marketing Group as our chief executive, strengthening our leadership team and corporate governance infrastructure. His experience building and managing digital agencies, together with his industry knowledge and relationships, will be immensely valuable to The Marketing Group. We are confident the company will continue to grow from strength to strength with his vision and guidance.”
