Facebook's new features

A recent blog has announced that restaurants and takeaways available on Delivery.com or Slice can now link their menus to the social network.

The news may sound warning alarms for industry leaders JustEat and HungryHouse although the site looks to be expanding into as many businesses as possible.

Also announced in the blog was new recommendation, local events, appointment booking, job quote and ticket purchasing calls to action, showing a vast increase in benefits that can be derived from a Facebook business page.

It said: “We’re starting to roll out these initial experiences in the US today. This is the first step, and over the coming months we’ll be launching even more new features that will make it easier to get things done, make confident decisions and communicate directly with businesses on your time and terms.”
