Disruptive Media Lab hires Michael Goldberg as chief creative officer

Disruptive Media Lab (DML), a New York digital boutique firm, has hired a new top executive, Michael Goldberg, who will take on the chief creative officer.

Goldberg comes to DML from Victoria’s Secret, where he was in-house Executive Creative Director, responsible for creative output at the retail brand. Before Victoria’s Secret, Goldberg was Global Executive Creative Director for Beats by Dre.

“We’re honored to have Michael join us,” said Cooper Cox, co-founder and president at DML. “His track record in delivering thoughtful, commercial and highly creative work is second to none. There are very few firms in our business that can match this level of talent. DML prides itself on innovation, a can-do attitude and high technical standards. Michael exemplifies this.”

The SoHo-based firm’s clients include Tom Ford, Brookfield Place, GlamGlow, Estee Lauder, Pink and Hermes, the latter work earning DML honors at the 2016 Webby Awards. Goldberg fits in well with his background in both retail fashion and entertainment brands.
