The company used a live voting window embedded on TV and radio station apps and websites, with thousands of self-reported registered voters across America voting on whether they agreed or disagreed with the candidates in real-time. On policy questions, what Futuri reveals is that voters were most interested when the candidates talked about raising or lowering taxes, the next Supreme Court Justice and Russia to name a few. Additionally, Futuri cites that the issues the live Republican voters agreed on most was a statement by presidential candidate Donald Trump that "we have a divided nation." What live Democratic voters agreed upon most was the "progress on the Affordable Care Act.

It was clear after Sunday nights' debate that Donald Trump dominated Twitter, but Futuri also measured social conversation with live voters to determine the most dominate posts on social media which included #LockerRoomTalk, Trump's personal highlighting of Bill Clinton accusers ahead of the debate, GOP reaction to the Trump tape and various memes about Bill Clinton's face during the debate.

At the end of each debate segment, participating Futuri client stations received summary data and suggested talking points regarding their local audience's voting metrics.

To break it down further, Futuri notes that the largest engagement included Trumps comment that "Bernie Sanders has bad judgement' along with ‘WikiLeaks’ and Hillary Clinton referring to Abraham Lincoln.

Additionally, Futuri provided insight on the most significant 'agree' votes among each party including Independents agreeing with Trumps position on cutting tax rates from 35 per cent to 15 per cent. The biggest disagree from Independents came with Clinton's mention of the 'Buffett rule' and Trumps response to Clinton saying "these are just words I've heard for 30 years, I'm going to help African-Americans and Latinos.'

Futuri also provided insight on social media trends during the debate, as monitored by the company's social media monitoring system, TopicPulse.

The social conversation was mainly focused on recent revelations including the Trump tape, NBC suspending Billy Bush for his role on the Trump tape and the GOP reaction to the Trump tape. Additional top trends on social media during the debate included the exchange where Clinton said, "It's good that someone with his temperament is not in charge of law” and Trump responding "Because you'd be in jail." Social media also reacted most to Trump mentioning Bernie Sanders several times in the first hour of the debate, which also included the line by Rudi Giuliani that ‘Bernie Sanders would be the nominee if Clinton's Wall Street speeches came out earlier.’

Futuri Media Ranks, which is listed in Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest-growing private companies for a third consecutive year will continue to offer its real-time sentiment analysis tool for its clients at the final debate on October 19.
