Donald Trump dominates Twitter conversations during second Presidential Election debate but Hillary Clinton gains most followers
The second presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump has overtaken the first to become the most tweeted political debate with Trump receiving almost two thirds of the conversation.

According to Twitter, during the extremely personal attack between the two, Trump received 64 per cent of the conversation as he battled to keep his campaign alive following the highly controversial video that was leaked just a few days prior.

Meanwhile, Twitter also revealed that the most discussed topics through #debate were; Terrorism, Foreign affairs, The economy, Healthcare and Guns respectively.

The @gov account also revealed that the three most tweeted moments came when Donald Trump he disagreed with his running mate Mike Pence on his stance around Syria, Trump's claim that he was a gentleman and that he would ensure Hillary Clinton was put in jail should he win the election.
Despite Trump's domination on social media conversation, Clinton made the largest gain in terms of attracting Twitter followers, adding 25,000 followers with Trump adding 16,000 during the debate.
