Coca-Cola joins Marketing Can Change the World Awards jury as deadline looms

Coca-Cola's sustainability manager Liz Lowe has joined the judging panel on The Drum's Marketing Can Change the World Awards, which will take place after Do It Day next month, with the deadline for entry just days away.

Marketing Can Change the World Awards

The awards, which aim to honor creative thinking that tackles real life issues in a meaningful way, reflect the ethos of The Drum and will also include Cindy Gallop, owner of IfWeRanTheWorld, Edelman executive creative director Bo Hellberg and TMW chief executive Chris Pearce among the judging panel.

Other judges confirmed will be Paul Armstrong, owner, Here Forth, Nick Jones, head of corporate responsibility and digital communications, Visa, Jane Asscher, founding partner and chief executive, 23 RED, Thomas Kolster, Mr Goodvertising, author, speaker and critic , Laura Pattison, marketing and communications director, Jeans for Genes, Paulina Lezama, head of brand strategy, Radley Yeldar, Jane Evans, owner, Invizibles, Wayne Deakin, executive creative director, AKQA! Nick Giles, co-founder, We Are Seven Hills and Samantha Frankel at the Media Trust.

Sponsoring the event are Rapp, xAd, Decoded, Gyro, Undercurrent, MC&T, Clear Channel UK and IBM.

Coca-Cola is also one of the challenge partners for Do It Day which sees it aim to find a solution to the litter problem across Britain on the day.

Deadline to enter the awards is set for early next week.
