The Webtise Group’s co-founder Clutterbuck departs.

Commenting on the departure, Clutterbuck’s fellow founder Graham Withe said: “On behalf of everyone at The Webtise Group, I would like to thank Danny for his hard work and significant contribution. His determination, drive and ambition have been key to our success, he really is a big Buck and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”

The business was quick to assure staff and clients that momentum is behind it despite Clutterbuck’s exit. It said his move comes toward the end of the financial year, a period it expects will continue the record growth it posted during the previous 12 months, during which time it acquired app development outfit the Apposing.

Of the business he helped set up in August 2008, Clutterbuck said it is now “phenomenal”. “My biggest regret in all of this is leaving great people behind. The staff really are second to none, I wish them the best of luck in their futures,” he claimed.

The Webtise Group is split into three businesses; Webtise, which focusses on digital marketing for online retailers, specifically around SEO, PPC, digital, PR and content marketing; Apposing, a mobile-first digital agency working with Vodafone, McDonald’s and Skipton Buidling Society; lastly Metrics Mate, an app that records online retail metrics, site issues and creates alerts to prevent loss of revenue.
