The expansion will be led by Lindsey Clarke, who joins as managing director for the office and is tasked with building the company’s profile amongst European brands, agencies and publishers.

She joins from Krux where she oversaw its data-driven strategies for publishers worldwide as vice-president of global advertising strategy. Prior to that, Clarke expanded the publisher development group at Acxiom and has also held senior roles at AudienceScience and Rubicon Project.

The London office will initially focus on servicing the UK divisions of the US publishers currently on Nativo’s books. It will also attempt to strike local deals.

“We’re looking to provide more on-the-ground support for Nativo’s existing customers that have publisher operations in Europe so the time is right for a London office,” said Nativo chief executive Justin Choi. “And Lindsey brings to Nativo a deep, first-hand understanding of the immediate and long-term needs for EU marketers and publishers. We are excited to have her work with us to bring our advanced native innovations to the market there.”

The expansion into Europe continues a spate of milestones for the business this year, including the launch of its Chicago office, a partnership with the Associated Press and its award of the first patent for sponsored content distribution.
