Salesforce's head of digital strategy Jeremy Waite joins IBM

Salesforce Marketing Cloud's head of digital strategy in EMEA, Jeremy Waite has left the company to take up the role of strategic marketing evangelist at IBM.

In his new role Waite will be working with the Marketing Cloud business in London and Atlanta, as well as teams working on Watson, IBM Commerce and digital agency IBM iX.

In a post on his blog Waite said of the new role: "Of course, IBM has an exciting past, but I’m more interested in what their technology might do in the future. Many people know IBM as the company that invented barcodes, airline reservation systems, ATMs, the personal computer industry, space programs and traffic lights ~ but it is also the company that is developing driverless cars, smart cities and cures for cancer, as well as leading the way in cognitive computing and customer experience analytics."

Waite was previously head of social strategy EMEA, for Adobe and before that head of social strategy at TBG Digital.
