To support the overhaul of two outlet shopping centres, Tristan Capital Partners and The Lotus Group have hired brand and marketing agency BWP Group in a "brand advisory" role.

The agency has been selected to support the redevelopment of Northern Irish outlet shopping centres The Outlet and Junction One. Both schemes, located close to Belfast, will undergo complete rebranding, with the hope of attracting a raft of new retailers through marketing support. BWP Group's brief will span brand planning and a brand refresh, signage, digital marketing, PR and social media, leasing support and wayfinding.

Chris Webb, director at Tristan Capital, said: “BWP Group is an ideal match for this venture, given their extensive retail experience. The team is fulfilling a brand advisory role rather than a traditional agency function, which is exactly what we need for this project. We are looking forward to some great results.”

Richard Beasley, chief executive of BWP Group, said: “We are delighted to be involved with this exciting project and are relishing the opportunity to undertake an integral role from start to finish. This project enables BWP to put its multi-disciplinary approach into action, implementing an integrated marketing solution that will deliver Tristan Capital and The Lotus Group’s vision for both of these schemes.”

BWP Group was co-founded in 1995 by Beasley, an ex-retailer who identified the need for a retail-focused brand and marketing agency.
