RBH Creative Communications Agency has appointed digital creative Jonny Severn to the role of digital design director.

Severn returns to RBH having previously spent two years with the agency before changing direction and working for a number of high-profile digital gaming companies, including Activision, where he helped develop DJ Hero 2 and Guitar Hero Live. Most recently he ran his own business, Pixel Smash, working on Halo 5, Super Powerboy and various commercial freelance projects. He will oversee the digital design department, working closely with creative directors, Woody and Vinny.

Debra Hepburn, managing director of RBH, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Jonny back. He brings with him a broad and impressive skill-set across gaming, branding, UX, UI, graphic design, motion graphics, e-commerce, product design, illustration and character design and development. He’ll be helping us continue to expand our strong digital offering and will present our clients with many new ideas and opportunities.”

Severn said of rejoining RBH: “It’s an exciting time for the agency – the place is buzzing and they’re working on some innovative new projects. I’m really looking forward to helping to build on recent growth and success.”

RBH’s clients include Certsure, Duck and Cover, Grand Central Birmingham, Jaguar Land Rover, National Hairdressers Federation, Peugeot, Resorts World Birmingham and Wacoal.
