He joins the agency from Orchard, an independent agency in Sydney, where he was also ECD.

His leadership will cover all key APAC markets within the region for DigitasLBi, including Singapore, Australia, India and Hong Kong and Japan. He will report into both Chris Clarke, DigitasLBi’s international chief creative officer, who is based in London and APAC CEO Annette Male, who is based in Singapore.

Chris Clarke, said; “ Lyndon was my creative partner at Wheel in the UK when we both did some of our best award winning work. Having Lyndon back on board is wonderful for me personally, but to have such a tried and tested creative force taking the reigns in the region is fantastic for the business. We know what he can deliver.”

According to Hale, one of the tasks he’ll take on is ensuring that the creative team can deliver quickly as clients in the region are asking for speed more often.

“My immediate focus will be to create a structure which enables top quality work at the fast pace that is required by our clients in the region,” he said.

Hale has over 30 years experience across a range of regions. He moved to Australia in 2007 where he was ECD of a small agency called Tongue that was later bought by WPP. Since then he’s also spent time at Razorfish and Imagination.
