SEO and content marketing agency BlueGlass has appointed David Iwanow as its director of strategy.

Iwanow, who has previously worked with eBay in Amsterdam and Razorfish in Sydney, joins BlueGlass with a brief to innovate and strengthen the agency’s core SEO and content marketing offerings.

BlueGlass founder and chief executive Kevin Gibbons said of the appointment: “This is an exciting time for BlueGlass. We’ve grown significantly over the last 12 months and are working with some fantastic brands. Agencies are all about people and we’re very happy to be bringing in a mix of agency and in-house experience to help take us to the next level.”

Discussing his new role, Iwanow said: “It’s a great time to be joining BlueGlass and I’m keen to help BlueGlass in the challenge to continuously innovate and improve, while remaining focused on delivering the best possible SEO and content marketing results for clients.”

In addition, Leah Wanklyn has joined BlueGlass in a project management role, while Antonio Wedel has been appointed as a content strategist.

BlueGlass operates offices in London, Zurich and Tallinn. The agency was recently voted 8th in The Drum’s Agency Census (in the 1-25 staff category) moving up from a position of 51st in the previous year.
