In a world where lifestyle blogs, TV programmes and cookbooks constantly raise the bar, Ikea wants to help people say goodbye to stress and hello to the joy of cooking, eating and simply being together with its latest campaign.
Created following the annual Ikea Life at Home report, which showed we’re becoming more social behind closed doors sharing our lives and homes online with friends and even strangers, ‘Let’s relax’ looks to start a conversation about the expectations that make our lives unnecessarily demanding.
Based on the idea that with friends and family sharing images of delicious, nutritious, locally-sourced, seasonally-appropriate meals, it’s easy to feel as if you’re falling short, the Acne-led campaign aims to show no one’s perfect and that everyone ‘cheats’ in the kitchen.
