Twitter users rally under #JeSuisNice hashtag in wake of latest terror attack
Twitter users are showing solidarity with the city of Nice following a terror attack in which at least 84 people were killed by a runaway lorry.
Many shared depictions of the French flag with the red compared to blood as commentators ask what, if anything, security services can do to prevent further atrocities.
Amongst those expressing sympathy was Tour de France winner Chris Froome who said his thoughts were with victims of the tragedy, as officials confirmed that the latest time trial stage of the flagship cycle race would go ahead as planned.
