Eyeview appoints Jeff Fagel as new chief marketing officer, key focus to be on outcome-based video marketing

Veteran marketer Jeff Fagel has been named as the new chief marketing officer (CMO) at Eyeview, the video marketing business.

Formerly with PepsiCo, Sears Holding and Gannett, Fagel will lead Eyeview’s brand marketing strategy to strengthen its leadership position in the outcome-based video marketing space.

“I’m excited to add a marketing leader with deep digital, retail, brand and customer experience to define, build and lead a new video advertising category around outcome-based video marketing,” said Oren Harnevo, CEO and co-founder of Eyeview. “Today’s marketers must prove a measured return in sales on every dollar they spend and Jeff understands this, as he has spent time as a brand side marketing leader and is a seasoned marketing technology CMO who has worked directly with brands to navigate the competitive landscape and scale their businesses.”

Fagel most recently was the CMO at Cofactor, a division of Tegna, formerly Gannett (Cars.com, Careerbuilder, etc). Prior to that role, Jeff led marketing at edo Interactive, a venture-backed startup within the emerging payments space.

He has extensive brand marketing, consumer packaged goods, and retail experience and was responsible for strategic leadership across the Kmart brand and its private-label portfolio with a focus on customer, digital and social media strategy. An innovator in multi-channel brand development, prior to Sears Holdings, Fagel held multiple marketing leadership roles at PepsiCo and ConAgra.
