The mother of UK tennis stars Andy and Jamie Murray has adopted a bizarre brand ambassador role at Pimm’s ensuring that mint levels in the drinks are optimal.

Murray will feature in a Pimm’s video instructing bar staff on the correct levels of mint in its ‘Tennis Tipple’. She secured the role after tweeting about “a foliage overdose” in her Pimm’s last year.
I love to Pimm. But seriously, what's with the foliage overdose? #pointless pic.twitter.com/tmmbB3Y9CY

On accepting the CFO role, created by PR agency Taylor Herring, the former Scottish national tennis coach, said: “My recipe for a perfect summer’s afternoon is a delicious glass of Pimm’s – and some great tennis. Jamie and Andy can take care of the tennis bit – I’ll be focusing on making sure we get the right amount of mint in our Pimm’s”.
Elly Martin, Pimm’s brand manager said “We’re delighted to welcome Judy to the team as our newly appointed Pimm’s chief foliage officer. Mint management is key to a great glass of Pimm’s and we know Judy is a perfectionist and doesn’t settle for second best.”
Murray announced her new role on Twitter.
