DigitasLBi chief executive APAC Roy Capon is stepping down from the business to pursue a role in Australia, with the digital agency naming Singapore MD Annette Male as his successor.

Annette Male

Male has been at DigitasLBi in Singapore since March 2015 when she joined as managing director and in that time has steered the agency to win key accounts including including Unilever, Pernod Ricard and UOB.

Ewen Sturgeon, chief executive officer, International at DigitasLBi, said: “I’d like to thank Roy for his work over the last four years – he has transformed the APAC region and is handing an exceptional team and roster of clients over to Annette.

Annette has built a reputation for being a first-class client lead and business developer as well as a great leader of the team in Singapore, where the office has gone from strength-to-strength under her leadership, as demonstrated by the recent Agency of the Year win.”

Male wasn’t a stranger to DigitasLBi outside of APAC as she held the role of deputy managing director at CRM agency Kitcatt Nohr, part of DigitasLBi. She has also worked at Mars, CHI & Partners, Tequila London and TBWA\GGT.
