Out of home media owner Clear Channel UK is set to install 400 new screens across the UK to strengthen their national Adshel Live network with locations selected to target areas of high population density.

Adshel Live

Clear Channel UK currently operates 600 Adshel Live units, a network of digital 6-sheets in 28 of the UK’s largest cities. It will install a further 400 screens in key towns and cities nationwide as it looks both to enhance its existing presence and launch in new areas.

Adshel Live’s network is currently located in populous areas where consumers are; on busy high streets and key shopping destinations. The expansion is set to strengthen this network by including bus shelters and free standing units (FSUs), to generate what the company claims will be 1.7 million impressions per day.

The beacon-enabled network will be underpinned by Play iQ, Clear Channel’s web-based content and inventory management system.

Justin Cochrane, chief executive of Clear Channel UK said: “Our vision is to create the future of media, out of home. Providing advertisers with a nationwide digital roadside opportunity is an important part of this.”

“Adshel Live has been a huge success with advertisers and we are delighted to be investing in adding a further 400 screens to the UK’s only truly national roadside digital Out of Home network.”
