Twitter wants you to use Moments, it's reportedly being tested in user timelines
Social network Twitter made a big deal of its Moments tab when it released in the UK at the close of 2015 but the company is looking for news ways to reach out to users with the feature.
The service was touted to curate all the trending news on the site, spreading it to users, but it required said users to click on a dedicated tab. Likely in a bid to increase engagement with the product, Engadget reports, that some users in the US, Canada, UK, Australia and Brazil have started seeing Recommended Moments appear in their timeline.
The company claimed that is just one way the company is testing to surface what it thinks is the most important (relevant?) content.
"Moments are awesome for catching up with the latest stories unfolding on Twitter. Because we're always working on new ways to bring the best content to our users, we're experimenting with showing recommended Moments in the timeline."
