Tatler editor Kate Reardon gives porn warning to old school: ‘Be picky about what you put into your brain’
Kate Reardon, the editor of society journal Tatler, paid a visit to her old school, Stowe School in Buckingham, to touch upon a number of subjects including social media and pornography, with pupils.
She urged them to spread humour on social media instead of relying upon “self-regarding” posts, they should aim to “make others laugh” she concluded.
Visiting the school for the first time in three decades, she also touched upon the subject of pornography: “What does porn have to do with having a laugh? Well, the more you watch, the less likely you are to have a laugh in real life.
“Your own responses to real life situations can be sabotaged if you consume porn at an age when your brains are more plastic, more prone to permanent change.”
She stated that they are a generation picky about what they put into their bodies, “be picky about what you put into your brain”.
