Paul Pogba's footballing ability has made him one of the most talked about players in the lead up to Euro 2016 however his unique style has been an equally defining attribute in shaping his superstardom, something which Adidas has chosen to showcase in the latest addition of its First Never Follows campaign.

Adidas has been quick to return fire on rival Nike's hugely popular new ad staring Cristiano Ronaldo with a new instalment in its First Never Follows campaign, which celebrates its brand ambassadors for their bold personalities in addition to their world-class talent.

The latest film features two young boys playing football in the streets as one enthusiastically talks about Pogba's trademark style, and encorporates fresh haircuts, trending goal celebrations and his own hashtag – #pogboom. The ad aims to portray how Pogba has inspired young fans around the world that it’s not what you do, but how you do it that matters.

It also shows off Adidas' equally ostentatious range of new boots, with the French midfielder wearing the new chrome coloured ACE 16+ PURECONTROL boots.

Discussing his contribution to the campaign Pogba said: “I always aim to be a leader - by being the first in everything I do - on and off the pitch. From being the first to try new skills to the first to showcase a fresh new style, being first is what inspires me and drives me to create moments that everyone remembers.”

The 23-year-old Juventus star reflects the bold individualism message behind Adidas' First Never Follows campaign, which is why he represents far more than just a big name for the German sports brand, and will be a huge asset in a tournament that will see fierce competition with Nike.
